Social Benefit for Inclusion – Basic Component
Amount paid monthly by Social Security to people with disabilities who benefit from the basic component of the Social Benefit for Inclusion.
The annual reference value of the basic component of the Social Benefit for Inclusion is updated based on the increase in the Social Support Index (which in 2025 corresponded to +2.6 per cent).
The Social Benefit for Inclusion is a social benefit paid monthly to people with disabilities, with a degree of incapacity equal to or greater than 60 per cent, with a view to promoting their autonomy and social inclusion.
This benefit is made up of three components:
▪ Basic component;
▪ Complement;
▪ Increase (not yet in force).
The basic component of the benefit is intended to compensate for the increased general burdens resulting from the condition of disability and, in addition to being awarded to new applicants, it replaces three benefits: the lifetime monthly allowance, the social invalidity pension and the invalidity pension from the transitional schemes for agricultural workers.
