Urgency Assistance is the act of providing assistance in a healthcare establishment, in its own facilities, to an individual with a sudden change or worsening of their state of health. This care can include a stay in the OR for observation for up to 24 hours.
There are three types of urgency episodes: basic, medical-surgical and multipurpose.
