The value corresponds to 100% of the grant entitlement for the unemployed person with a disability engaged in full-time socially necessary activity (25% of the Social Support Index), plus the transport allowance (only for persons with disabilities – 12.5% of the Social Support Index) and the meal allowance (equivalent to that of the public sector). This amount represents the contribution paid by IEFP, IP, per person with a disability and per month to the non-profit private entities promoting projects under the MAIS Programme – +Activation.
The MAIS Programme – Measures for Social Activation and Inclusion – is a measure that promotes the development of socially necessary work, particularly in the areas of social support, environment, and natural, cultural, and urban heritage, and comprises the following support measures:

The +Activation social activity contract cannot aim at job placement and has a maximum duration of nine months, renewable or not, with an additional three-month training period when applicable.
This measure was created by Order No. 118/2025/1 of 17 March, which establishes and regulates the MAIS Programme – Measures for Social Activation and Inclusion.
