Integration into Employment of Young People with Disabilities (Employment + Talent)
The unit value (per Episode) corresponds to 18 times the value of the Social Support Index (IAS), with an increase of 35% in the following situations: employment of a person with disabilities; a young person up to 35 years of age; a long-term unemployed person; an unemployed person of the under-represented gender in a given occupation in which representation does not reach 33.3% for one of the sexes and which appears on a specific list published by IEFP; or a job located in an inland territory.
The Employment + Talent Measure consists of granting the employer financial support for the permanent hiring, full-time, of unemployed young people, registered with the IEFP, or who have emigrated permanently for at least 12 months, with higher education qualification, and whose remuneration established in the employment contract is equal to or higher than the salary level of entry of a graduate in the general career of senior technician in the Public Administration.
The measure is aimed at unemployed young people with disabilities registered with the IEFP, or who have emigrated permanently for at least 12 months, aged 35 or less and who have a qualification of level 6, 7 or 8 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
This measure aims to:
– Attract and retain the talent of qualified young people;
– Promote the improvement and quality of employment, encouraging more stable employment relationships and the setting of salaries appropriate to the qualifications of young people;
– Prevent and combat youth unemployment and stimulate the hiring of qualified young people, fostering and supporting the net creation of jobs;
– Encourage the return and settlement of young emigrants in Portugal.
