Children and Adolescents in Autonomy Training Residences (Tipo A) (RTA/A – CCISM)
Value paid by the Health Service plus the maximum contribution paid by Social Security, per user/day, to the entities promoting and managing the units and teams of the National Network for Integrated Continuing Care (Public Entities of the National Health Service, Private Social Solidarity Institutions – IPSS or legally equivalent entities, and Private Entities), with programme contracts, which develop Autonomy Training Residences – Residências de Treino de Autonomia – Type A, within the scope of Integrated Continuing Mental Health Care – Cuidados Continuados Integrados de Saúde Mental.
The National Network for Long-term Integrated Care – Rede Nacional de Cuidados Continuados Integrados (RNCCI) consists of continuing healthcare and/or social support units and teams, and a set of integrated continuing mental healthcare units and teams, which originate from local community services, covering hospitals, health centres, social security services, entities form social economy and local authorities. The RNCCI is implemented by the Ministries of Health and Labour, Solidarity and Social Security.
The Autonomy Training Residences – Residências de Treino de Autonomia (RTA), promoted within the scope of Integrated Continuing Mental Health Care – Cuidados Continuados Integrados de Saúde Mental (CCISM), are residential units designed to develop psychosocial rehabilitation programmes for people with moderate and reduced degrees of psychosocial disability, who are clinically stable and retain some functionality. Their purpose is the social and family reintegration of people with psychosocial disability, preparing them for return home or, in the absence of adequate family or social support, for admission to other units and teams. There are two types of RTA: type A and type B.
