A financial grant paid monthly by Social Security to Private Social Solidarity Institutions, Non-Governmental Organisations or legally equivalent, with a cooperation agreement with State, that develop the social service Kindergarten, per children.
A Kindergarten is a socio-educational facility aimed at supporting the family and the child, designed to accommodate children up to the age of 3 for as long as their parents or those with parental responsibilities are unable to attend.
The objectives of the kindergarten are:
a) To facilitate the reconciliation of family and professional life in the household;
b) To collaborate with the family in sharing care and responsibilities throughout the child’s development;
c) To ensure individual and personalised care according to the specific needs of each child;
d) Preventing and detecting any maladjustment, disability or risk situation at an early stage, ensuring the most appropriate referral;
e) Providing conditions for the child’s full development, in an environment of physical and emotional security;
f) To liaise with other services in the community.
