The unit value per hour results from the calculation of the average trainee cost per hour, based on the direct costs for carrying out the training in the year in question.
The Apprenticeship + Courses are a dual certification training modality developed through work-based learning, following the skills and training frameworks linked to the qualifications included in the National Qualifications Catalogue (CNQ). They lead to obtaining a level 5 qualification on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
The objectives of these courses are to strengthen the qualification levels of young people and adults to improve their employability, facilitate (re)integration into the labour market, and support further study; to value the training potential in a work environment through active participation of companies and other employers as genuine partners; to develop and consolidate high-quality learning based on a work-based learning regime; and to progressively bring young people and adults closer to the labour market through workplace experience.
Eligible candidates are young people and adults aged between 18 and 29 years (inclusive), with one of the following qualifications:
a secondary education diploma or its legally equivalent qualification;
basic education level who are attending an education or training pathway, or undergoing a recognition, validation and certification of competences process at secondary level;
a level 5 qualification diploma or certificate on the NQF, a technological specialisation diploma, or a higher education degree or diploma.
