Technological Specialization Courses (CET)
The unit value per hour results from the calculation of the average trainee cost per hour, based on the direct costs for carrying out the training in the year in question.
The Technological Specialisation Courses (CET) provide post-secondary non-tertiary level training and aim to meet the needs of the labour market at the level of intermediate technical staff, while also allowing for progression to higher education.
The objectives of this public policy are to provide a valid alternative for adults in terms of their professional development as competent specialised technicians and to train professionals capable of meeting the challenges posed by a constantly changing labour market and intense economic competition.
The target audience for these courses are candidates aged 18 or older at the start of the training, who hold one of the following qualifications:
– Secondary education certificate or legally equivalent qualification;
– Basic education level and currently enrolled in an education or training programme, or undergoing a recognition, validation, and certification of competences process at the secondary level;
– Diploma or certificate of level 5 qualification in the National Qualifications Framework (QNQ), a technological specialisation diploma, or a higher education degree or diploma.
